# Noir de Bigorre

### À propos du produit

Le Noir de Bigorre se distingue par sa couleur rouge foncé, avec une graisse périphérique très blanche. Il est marbré, fondant, juteux et tendre.

**Alimentation :** herbe, plantes, céréales, glands, châtaignes, pommes  
**Élevage :** libre sur pâturages  
**Âge d'abattage :** 12 à 15 mois

#### À propos de la région

La Bigorre est une région montagneuse et vallonnée des Pyrénées françaises. C'est le foyer du Porc Noir de Bigorre, une race de porc très ancienne. Ces animaux paisibles vivent en petites bandes et se déplacent librement dans la nature. Ils se nourrissent principalement d'herbe et de petits insectes. En complément, ils sont nourris avec des céréales, des pois et, selon la saison, des pommes, des châtaignes et des glands.
